1.
I want to be considered
and contacted for job opportunities
with Profil International's
clients. What should I do?
2. When I send my resume to Profil International,
what are the following
steps?
3. When I apply, how long does it take
you to get back?

is kept confidential. How
do you ensure that?
5. I have applied to a position, but haven't
received a response yet.
What does this mean?
6. Do you charge a fee to candidates (professionals)?
7. I want to update my resume. What should
I do?
8. My resume has not changed. Should I
still update it once in
while?
9. I want to increase my chance of an
interview. How do you prefer
a resume?
1.
I want to be considered
and contacted for job opportunities
with Profil International's
clients. What should I do?
You can send your detailed
resume through e-mail (preferred),
fax or mail. Your resume
is recorded in our database and is
continuously evaluated
against career opportunities available
through our clients.
Our consultants will contact you first,
as soon as there is a
relevant job opportunity that might
suit your credentials.
2. When I send
my resume to Profil International,
what are the following
steps?
Your resume is recorded
in our database. If you have applied
to a specific (advertised)
position;
- The relevant consultant
evaluates your application.
- If you might suit the
position in question, our consultant
will contact you first.
- If you and our consultant
agree so, we have an initial interview
with you.
- After the initial interview,
if you still are a potential
candidate for the position,
further interviews take place
with us and later with
our client until a final decision is
made.
- If you are not contacted
upon your application, this means
that the evaluation process
is still continuing.
- At the end of the evaluation
process, if you are not the
right-fit for the particular
position, we will thank you for
your interest either
through a phone call or letter.
- We can then consider
your application for coming opportunities.
On your side, you should
update your resume periodically and
whenever there is a change
in your contact information or
job.
If you have NOT applied
for a specific position (a general
application);
- Your resume is continuously
evaluated against career opportunities
available through our
clients.
- Our consultants get
in touch with you first, as soon as
there is a relevant job
opportunity that might suit your credentials.
- You should update your
resume periodically and whenever
there is a change in
your contact information or job.
3. When I apply, how long does it take you
to get back?
Our consultants may not
contact you, if we do not have career
opportunities that might
suit your credentials. We aim for
the "right-fit", that
is almost the ideal situation. This
might be within days,
weeks or months upon your application,
depending on the opportunities
that may arise. However, as
long as you keep us up-to-date
about yourself, you are considered
for potential career
opportunities for the duration of your
professional career.
You only need to keep your resume up-to-date.
4. It is very important
that my information is
kept confidential. How do you ensure
that?
At Profil International
confidentiality of information regarding
our clients and candidates
is an utmost priority. Our consultants
and other team members,
you might guess, are recruited accordingly.
They receive training
on relevant procedures to keep your
information confidential.
Some of the confidentiality procedures
are listed below:
- Your name or any other
information that might reveal your
identity is NOT mentioned
to our client or any other party
without first getting
your consent.
- Even when sharing some
of your credentials with our clients,
we do not disclose your
resume. Instead we submit a special
"Candidate Report" that
does not reveal your name, current
employer, position title
and contact information.
- Even if, without knowing,
you have applied to a position
at your current employer,
this application is kept confidential.
- Our resume files are
physically secured, and our database
is secured against outsiders.
5. I have applied
to a position, but haven't
received a response yet. What does
this mean?
This means that the evaluation
process is still continuing.
You will receive a response,
as soon as the evaluation is
completed. In some cases
the project might be suspended or
project deadline is extended
due to several reasons. In such
cases, you might need
to check with us about the situation.
6. Do you charge a fee to candidates (professionals)?
No. We do NOT charge
any fee to our candidates either upon
application, assessment,
placement or career counseling.
7. I want to update my resume. What should
I do?
You should send your
detailed resume (preferably with your
reference number) via
e-mail,
or fax.
8. My resume has
not changed. Should I
still update it?
Yes. If you do not update,
your resume will become out-of-date
in our records even if
your job and contact information is
the same.
9. I want to increase my chance of an interview.
How do you prefer a resume?
If you have fluent English,
we prefer your resume in English.
We also prefer e-mail
applications, which makes the evaluation
process easier and faster.
If we have your e-mail address,
it will be easier and
faster to reach you confidentially.
Besides language and
e-mail, we look at some basic conditions:
- If you are applying
for a particular advertisement, you
should quote the reference
of the particular position you
are interested in.
- Details (Title, activities,
responsibilities and achievements
etc.) of your work experiences,
especially about recent ones.
- Start and end dates
of your work experiences in months and
years.
- Although not necessary,
you can include a cover letter stating
your objective and intention,
if you are applying for a specific
ad.
